Book Design: At the Feet of Jesus

About : When Dr. Mary Ruth Wisehart passed away, her numerous writings were donated to the Free Will Baptist Historical Commission. The commission members quickly realized she had been working on — and had nearly finished — a 365-day devotional book. They took her writings and filled in the missing pieces with portions of her other writings and released this limited-edition book at the denomination’s 2025 National Convention.

I was asked to design both the cover and the interior layout. The 342-page volume is one of my favorite projects to date! We used forget-me-not flowers on both the cover and the monthly divider pages, since Dr. Wisehart was an avid fan of flowers. The interior was printed entirely in black and white, causing us to design the divider pages creatively but economically. A truly fun process from beginning to end, and an high-quality finished product!
